Learner’s Age: Must be 16 years old or older.
Class Size: The class size is 3-10 people. If there are less than 3 people when the class starts, the following actions will be taken:
 ◇Refund the full tuition fee
 ◇Wait for one month to start the class
Student Leave: Must fill out this form 24 hours in advance. The application time is based on the time of submitting the form. No make-up classes or refunds will be given. The teacher will record the lesson and send it to you after class. If notification is not given 24 hours in advance then the teacher will not be recording the class. Short notices do not provide video recording on the same day, including sudden illness or injury. If the injury or illness lasts more than one day, please remember to fill out the leave application.
Teacher Leave: A substitute teacher will be arranged. If a substitute teacher cannot be found at short notice, the class will be cancelled and rescheduled, and an extra hour of free class will be given as compensation.
New Student Requirements: New students must first book a one-hour online ZOOM interview, where there will be a one-on-one placement test and course introduction by a teacher. This new student interview is free, but you must pay the tuition fee before you can book it.
Payment Method: All payments must be made online (credit card/bank), cash is not accepted. Full payment must be made at once, no installment payments are allowed. Foreign accounts outside of Taiwan must pay by PAYPAL (credit card); Taiwanese accounts pay by 綠界ECPAY (credit card or bank transfer).
Trial Lesson: Only for new students. We do not offer any additional trial lessons, the first regular class serves as a trial lesson. You need to pay the full tuition fee and attend the first class. If you are not satisfied, you can apply for a refund. However, the trial lesson is not free of charge, so if you request a refund, the fee for your first class (the exact number of hours you attended) will be deducted from the refund amount.
Google classroom: We use Google classroom to give students assignments or handouts. Please provide your “personal Gmail account” (do not use school or business accounts) and pay attention to your Google classroom notifications. Complete the assigned work online and submit it to Google classroom. Do not submit your work privately in other ways (email or chat software submissions are not accepted).
Class Time: You cannot change the class time at will. If you cannot participate in the whole class, you still need to pay the full tuition fee. If you have a certain time that you cannot attend before enrolling in the course, you can fill out the leave form in advance. We can provide video recordings of the class.
Hardware and Software Requirements: We use ZOOM software for our classes, and you must turn on your camera and use your microphone to speak during the class. We strongly recommend using a computer for the class, as using a phone will make it hard to see the materials on the screen, and may cause poor audio or video quality. In addition, please make sure you attend the class in a noise-free and a good internet connection environment.
Chinese Characters: All teaching materials are in traditional Chinese. Students can choose to use either traditional or simplified Chinese writing (typing) when submitting their assignments.
